Ministry Passion:  Would love to travel to exotic places on short mission trips.
Why Second Church:  I  wanted to be at a larger church where there would be other kids for our son to grow up with.

Why Second Church?  I came in Labor Day Sunday Heard the Choir and saw there were Few Men, but a quality section, was impressed by organ playing of Choir Master, and charasmatic leadership of pastor and staff.  Oh and the Church's Acoustics: WOW

Why Second Church? I'm a big tent guy, and not a literal interpretationalist and I enjoy 2nd's big tent and Presbyterianism's acceptance and engouragement of the use of the intellect.

Random Facts: I coached and worked at my alma mater for 4 years before going back to school.

Summar Chambliss, Heflin, AL

5th Year Senior at College of Charleston.  I will graduate in May with a Major in Biology and a Minor in Secondary Education.  I hope to find a job next year in a local Charleston high school.

I love working with youth and people in need.  I have worked at summer camps like Gulftreat and Montreat and enjoy helping the men's group serving dinner at crisis ministries

I started coming to Second Presbyterian as a freshman in college and have grown close to my PSA group at the college and at the Citadel.  Now that I am graduating, I want to continue that church family here at Second Presbyterian.

Random facts:I pole-vaulted for the college for four years and jumped 12 feet my senior year.  I would love to coach track and field where I can find a teaching job.  I am learning how to play the banjo.  I love contra and square dancing.
