Connect & Grow

Women

Because of our continuously Reformed tradition and the revealed Biblical truth that all people are equal in Christ, women at Second Church do not just study God’s word, but are encouraged to listen to God’s call to leadership. As a reflection of that, we have a growing number of women’s small groups for all different ages.

Where to Connect and Grow:
-Women’s Lunch Small Group
Tuesdays, 12:00pm-1:00pm, Yellow Room (room 103)
There’s no better time to take a break like lunch time, especially if you’re a busy mother or professional. Bring your lunch and join other Second Church women from 12:00-1:00 pm in the Education building for a small group led by our church administrator, Nancy Bryant.

-Women’s Wednesday Night Bible Study
Wednesdays, 6:00pm-8:00pm, Yellow Room (room 103)
As the self-proclaimed “rebel” women’s group, these ladies are a lot of fun. Consider joining this uniquely inter-generational small group on Wednesday nights from 6:00-8:00 pm for our very popular dinner and Bible study led by Second Presbyterian Kindergarten Director, Sue Henderson.

-James Island Bible Study
Mondays, 6:00pm-7:00pm, James Island, Call Nancy Bryant at 723-9237 for directions
A short-term house bible study is under way on the Isle of James. Led by Nancy Bryant, it is a attended by women from multiple churches and denominations—leading to some amazing eye-opening discussions for everyone!

-Mothers & Others Morning Bible Study
Wednesdays, 10:00am-11:30am, Upstairs Conference Room
Have a child that attends our amazing kindergarten? How about dropping them off, joining us for our Wednesday’s children’s chapel, and getting together after with a great group of ladies to study Biblical video series with Sue Henderson. And you don’t have to be a mother — “others” are welcome too! Either way, it’s a perfect way to spend your mid-morning.
