Second Presbyterian Church

Connect & Grow

Young Adults

Whether you’ve just entered the work world, recently married, or starting a family, Second Church is an amazing place to put down roots. The community of young adults is growing faster than any other generation here, and they are passionate for Jesus Christ. Come be a part of helping to build this new and exciting dimension of our Second family.

Where to Connect:
-The Second Connection
Every Sunday (except the second Sunday of the month, where we have lunch with the entire congregation) after the 11:15am worship service, college students and young adults head out to a local downtown restaurant for brunch. It’s a great way to enjoy delicious (but inexpensive) Charleston cuisine and get to know other young adults in the in the church.

Where to Grow:
-The Well
Sundays, 10:00am-11:00am, Green Room (room 210)
The Well is our our contemporary Sunday School class that meets at 10:00am on the Second floor of the Education Building. Led by our most exciting and eccentric teachers, we learn everything pertinent from Bible study to apologetics to evangelism and even politics. Wake up a little earlier and come on by.

Where to Connect and Grow:
-Young Adult Koinonia
Second Church now has a small group crafted exclusively for young professionals (ages 22-35) to explore their faith and build community. One Friday night a month the Young Adult Koinonia comes together for dinner and some drinks, while engaging in a truly unique question-driven Scripture study. Just look for updates from DCE Colin on when and where to meet and look for details on what to bring, or contact Jodie Almeida at 422-5799. See you at the next gathering!
