Sunday School

Our Sunday School meets at 10:00am in the Education Building.

Currently, we offer the following Sunday School classes:

Pre-School- (room 107)
It's never too young to start learning about God's love. Have it begin here!

Kindergarten- (room 108)
Always full of laughter and fun, this is where children begin to learn their first Bible verses, as well as the Lord's Prayer.

1st through 5th Grade- Purple Room (room 209)
Colorful Bible lessons are taught through a unique curriculum make this a great foundational class for kids. As children engage in fun crafts, games, and dramas, they also begin to read the Scriptures for themselves. This is where personal faith starts forming!

The Journey Bible Study (6th to 12th Grade)- Youth Room (room 212)
One of the best confirmation and youth Bible studies downtown, hands down. Led by the some of the church's youngest and most inspiring teachers, this diverse and fun group of teens is encouraged to ask questions and discover what it means to be a Christ-follower.

The Well- Green Room (room 210)
The Well is our contemporary Sunday School class that meets at 10:00am on the Second floor of the Education Building. Led by our most exciting and eccentric teachers, we learn everything pertinent from Bible study to apologetics to evangelism and even politics. Wake up a little earlier and come on by.

Traditional Bible Study- Yellow Room (room 103)
Are you an aspiring Biblical scholar? It’s never too late to become one! Ask questions, compare translations, and study the Scriptures in detail with one of Charleston's finest lawyers, Dingle Howe.

Men's Bible Study- Blue Room (room 205)
This is perhaps the longest continuous Bible study in Second Church’s history. Join Rev. Eric Keller as the other men as they learn the art of exegesis (how to interpret the Bible).
